Wednesday 5.8.2009 |
Journey from Moshi town to KIA (airport) started by using a Moshi Municipal Council Landcruiser with our smiley faces ready to be on plane for the first time. Mr Ally Shikony had to solve ticket problem for Hamisi H. Kaita. He had to call Copenhagen and Hundslev for almost one hour in his celphone. At last Nils Brøgger Jakobsen from MS Copenhagen solved the problem whereby a new ticket was issued. We departed from KIA (Tanzania) to Amsterdam (Holland) via Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) airports then to Billund (Denmark) Airport |
We had a good journey, without any difficulties |

Thursday 6.8.2009 |
We took a taxi (Mini bus) at Billund airport to Hundslev We had lunch and later picked by host families |
Everyone was tired and uncomfortable |

FRIDAY 7.8.2009 |
Everyone of us was at his or her host family and at different time went to register at Alsion ready for the Bright Green Youth Camp. |

SATURDAY 8.8.2009 |
We were welcomed at BGY at 9:30AM Home group formation at 10:00AM Introduction to program expectations and team building at 12:00NOON Lunch at 12:45PM Identifying biggest climate challenges and problems at 14:00PM Break at 14:15PM Creating visions for a world without climate changes at 15:20PM Break at 15:45PM Developing solutions and ideas at 17:00PM Dinner at host families at 19:00PM Official opening at Alsion with presence of lots of government official of Denmark, Halidi Ally Hamisi from escorted the Crown Prince Frederick who was the guest of honour and Hemedi Halifa Kiluvia was on stage to answer questions (both from Tanzania). |

Morning session (singing, drawing and having fun) at 9.00AM Idea cup (we were taught how we can vote for best groups) at 9.45AM Break at 10.45AM Idea cup finals (the best group were voted for ) at 11.00AM Lunch (prepared by host families) at 12.30PM Action planning (making ideas on your groups on how you will go on with your projects as the BGY camp is over) at 13.30PM Dinner with host families at 17.30PM Presentation of best four projects which were voted for (business men , managers of different places ,MS leaders and many other VIP members) were around to give out suggestions and more ideas to the groups which were presenting at DANFOSS UNIVERSE There was also a live band , and many other interesting things to the participants at 20.00PM |
